Bring Me The Horizon formed in 2004, they came up with the name Bring Me The Horizon from a popular film called Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, in which Captain Jack Sparrow shouts "Now... Bring me that horizon." The band are signed to a record label called Thirty Days of Night record, they were the first band to be signed to this record company. There first album was called Count Your Blessing and was realised in October 2006 in England and then in August 2007 in the United States of America. They recorded their second album in Sweden with a guy named Fredrik Nordström who has worked with some famous rock bands such as Arch Enemy and also I Killed The Prom Queen. Suicide Season was a completely different outtake to their first album as it had more of a Metalcore vibe but it was similar to their debut EP release This Is What The Edge Of Your Seat Was Made For. The album was realised in September 2008.

There first tour of the United States of America was in 2008 at the warped tour; this was their first headline tour. Then Bring Me The Horizon joined with even more popular band for the Kerrang Relentless in 2009 Mindless Self Indulgence, In Case of Fire, Black Tide and Dir en grey were some of the bands that they toured with, the later in 2009 they went back to America for the taste of chaos tour where they joined Thursday, Cancer Bats, Four Year Strong and Pierce the Veil.

In March of 2009 they guartist of the band left, there were many reason why the guartist left, some of the reasons where: "it became apparent he wasn't enjoying it" and that it was "just about commitment"
Guitarist Jona Weinhofen, formerly of I Killed The Prom Queen and Bleeding Through replaced him.
Even later in 2009 Bring Me The Horizon produced another album called Suicide Season: Cut up! This is where they took their album and worked with The Dillinger Escape Plan, Sonny Moore, L’Amour La Morgue (Ian Watkins from Lostprophets), Utah Saints and Shawn Crahan from Slipknot to create a dupstep album.
These are the albums that bring me the horizon have produced:
• Count Your Blessings (2006)
• Suicide Season (2008)
• Suicide Season: Cut Up! (2009)
• There Is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let's Keep It a Secret (2010)
